Be sure to tune in to B92.9 tomorrow night (Sunday the 23rd of may) at 9:00 to check out B92.9's New Music Lab hosted by the illustrious John Chimpo. It will feature new music from 2 national artists as well as a song from "Spinner's Yarn" and a short interview! If you have a blackberry, droid, or iPhone, you can get it with the I Heart Radio app, or if you're living in the dark ages like myself you can simply tune in if you live in the area, or visit www.b929.com and click the "listen live" link in the top left corner. Big thanks to John for putting this together. Where's the I Heart Chimpo app?

House Show Series

Just a quick preface for this post: The official "Spinner's Yarn" release show presented by Off The Air has been scheduled for the 4th of June at Deva Cafe. Additional details are available Here. I've got some neat posters as well as a swath of buttons. I'm expecting the actual CDs to arrive at my house tomorrow, and, perhaps the only reason I'm writing this is because until they arrive I don't know what to do with myself. The CDs too, will be for sale at the show on the 4th (naturally). As with any other Off The Air show, this one promises to be a lot of fun. It's a great line-up, and I haven't attended a show yet put together by Greg Edwards that wasn't fantastic.

Now for the title matter: In celebration of all these developments, I'm trying to book a house-show series (in lieu of a tour; I'm afraid I'm a poor musician). So what I'm asking of you, is that you'll check out my shows page, check out your calendar, and then if interested contact me at: micolcazzell@gmail.com and we'll talk about setting up a show on a date that's not already posted. Please do not feel obligated by any means, and only offer to host one if you're totally comfortable with it. The more I thought about places to play, the more this idea came creeping in, and it sounds like a lot of fun, and a great way to bring the music right to folks ears, which is really what this whole thing's about right?
